Sunday, November 13th, from 1 to 4pm at SPACECRAFT(355 Bedford Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211) is the 3rd Annual Brooklyn Pie Bake-Off Benefit.  $10 at the door gets you 3 slices of pie and a drink!  Some pies to look forward to: Caramel Apple Pie with Bacon-Toffee Crumble, Tangerine Pine Nut Slab Pie with Barley Butter Crust, and Cuban Picadillo Pie!!

Welcome to the 3rd Annual Brooklyn Pie Bake-Off Benefit that will take place on Sunday, November 13th, from 1:00 to 4:00pm at SPACECRAFT in Brooklyn. Thanks to SPACECRAFT, Brooklyn Brewery, Ronnybrook, Etsy, BurdaStyle, Bags for the People, the Judges, those who volunteered their help, and all the participants for making this a successful event!  We were able to raise a good amount of money for OurGoods.org.

And the Winners Are...
The response for the 2nd Annual Brooklyn Pie Bake-Off Benefit was amazing!!  We had over 33 entrants with over 65 total pies and a line out the door and around the corner.  The Pies were beautiful and delicious, but the judges, Allison Kave of First Prize Pies, Kitty Greenwald of Eatsy, and Cathy Erway of the Art of Eating In, definitely had their work cut out for them. And the winners...

We Have Our Winners!
I’d like to thank all the bakers for baking amazing pies and all those who came out to indulge in the 1st Annual Brooklyn Pie Bake-Off Benefit! There were 28 entrants, with close to 40 total pies and over 100 people packing the place!  We raised $1000 that will help Bags for the People get their 501(c)3 tax exempt status.
